28. Pet Rescue A. Beds B. Pads
Pet Beds are not only for the comfort of rescues during the traumas of transitions and surgery, but they can mean the difference of whether a rescue may be returned, or dumped, by their adopters for ‘bad behaviors’ . Rescues who have their own pet bed or pad during fostering and trauma care, and are allowed to travel to the adopter’s home with it, feel comfort having their ‘own spot’ and that they belong somewhere. They are also great for the environment - using up all washble scraps! Zero-waste!
Instruction Summary: Inside liner bag stuffed with all your washable fabric scraps, sewn shut. 20”x16” minimum, preferred cut 21x21). Covered with scratch-proof upholstery / home dec / upcycled jeans (the best!). Choose fabric not too dark (shows dirt and hair easily) and not too light (shows dirt too). Prints are ideal to be as attractive as possible for potential adopters.
